The goal of the MATtours(TM) Project is to produce electronic tours of mathematical ideas.

Currently you can find two kinds of tours through this site.

Ellipses. Our first tours are through the same pages but for different learning styles. Despite its age, the site is being used extensively.

Inquiry-based discrete mathematics. The second collection of tours we developed visits topics in discrete mathematics. It was developed with funding from SciMath Minnesota to support in-service courses for Minnesota teachers wanting greater familiarity with discrete mathematics and with inquiry-based learning.

We're also seeking funding for Web 2.0-based tours in algebra and other topics.

If you work with any of these tours and have comments or suggestions about them, we'd appreciate hearing from you. For feedback about the simulations, please contact Larry Copes, project director: copes at edmath.org.
